Bunkie Says 'Hey!'
A Girl Can Dream...photo by K. Dineen

Bunkie Lynn is a humorist and author based in Nashville. Her wit and 'expert advice' for middle-aged women and her rollicking, animated delivery make Bunkie a popular keynote & event speaker at conventions, literary festivals, writer's workshops and fundraisers.

Bunkie challenges women to find their inner beauty in a society that defines the ideal woman's body as "a cross between a pretzel stick and a silicone breast implant."

Her global fan base includes career women, stay-at-home moms and singletons, all of whom can relate to her universal humor.

Bunkie has two books in print, is a regular columnist for WNBA and Igigi.com, and hopes to debut a new 'hen lit' comedy soon; plus she's looking for motivation to complete her next comedy novel, set in Cajun country.

Women of all shapes, sizes and backgrounds find common ground in Bunkie's wild, tell-it-like-it-is tales, and she even has a few loyal male fans, her CPA notwithstanding. Bunkie's also a founding member of The Comma Goddesses, a group of women writers who come together when it strikes their fancy to celebrate life, the written word, chocolate and all things female. Bunkie's Debut Novel...

Enjoy Bunkie's rollicking, satirical style that is a cross between the works of humorists Carl Hiaasen and Dave Barry, and fiction greats Jan Karon and Barbara Kingsolver.  A Comedy of Heirs, is a tale of mistaken identity and stolen inheritance in a Tennessee town. Reviewers describe it as "hilarious," "absolutely made me laugh out loud alot!," "dangerously funny," and well-written. Fans have compared A Comedy of Heirs to A Confederacy of Dunces by John Kennedy Toole.
